JOB LOCATION: South Africa

REPORTS TO: Africa Head of Sales & Services

SUMMARY OF EXECUTIVE OPPORTUNITY:

The primary purpose of the position of the Key Account Executive is to develop a partnership with a designated Key Client and territorial influencers and direct the client’s sales teams’ efforts, with the goal to grow revenue by positioning the Company as a trusted partner

KEY EXECUTIVE ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:

  • Expected to manage the entire sales process from beginning to end, lead a virtual team of technical and marketing resources, as well as direct the activities of Territory Managers involved with the designated Key Client accounts to ensure account growth and customer satisfaction
  • Extensive and successful sales experience in the South Africa / Africa telecom sector within a mobile infrastructure vendor or technology solutions provider
  • Existing contacts and track record within Africa mobile operators will be essential
  • Previous revenue responsibility for at least US$10 million with proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets
  • Experience of working across multiple countries in the Africa Region
